This screen capture is for united airlines which shows this airline has 24 percent popularity but recent popularity, month trend and week trend is 0%.

American airline has 21% popularity which is 3 percent less than united airlines but other factors are 0 same as united airlines.
By having look on all social media platforms of both airlines, its easy to say that American airlines are more popular than united airlines. Because they have more followers on Facebook and Twitter. They have more subscribers than united airlines on YouTube as well.
